Welcome to Terrell ISD! Whether you are a new or returning student, we are so glad you are here. You are going to love being a part of the Terrell Tiger family! Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will open on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
To make enrollment a smooth process for our families we have created step-by-step instructions for each level of student. Let’s get started!

**The deadline for in-district and out-of-district transfers for the 2025-2026 academic year is Thursday, May 29, 2025.
Spring Registration Assistance Nights
All NEW AND RETURNING students are required to register/enroll their child for the upcoming school year before they may attend school. Registration is completed online in Parent Portal. All parents are encouraged to make every attempt to register their child online in Parent Portal. However, should you need assistance with Parent Portal and uploading documents, join us at one of our Registration Assistance Nights listed below.
ENROLLMENT ASSISTANCE NIGHTS
W.H. Burnett Early Childhood: Tuesday, April 8 | 5:00-7:30 PM
J.W. Long Elementary: Thursday, April 10 | 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Gilbert Willie Elementary: Tuesday, April 15 | 5:00-7:30 PM
Bruce Wood Elementary: Wednesday, April 16 | 5:00-7:30 PM
Each Registration Assistance Night will be held at the corresponding campus.
If your child is a NEW student, please bring the following documents with you:
Proof of Residency (current electric, water or gas bill or lease/mortgage agreement in guardian's name)
Parent/Guardian Driver's License
Student's Birth Certificate
Student's Immunization Record
Student's Social Security Card
If your child is a RETURNING student, please bring the following document with you:
Proof of Residency (current electric, water or gas bill or lease/mortgage agreement in guardian's name)
